● “Facial Data” refers to facial information collected by our devices, including but not limited to details such as facial contours, facial features, skin texture, wrinkles, moles, freckles, etc. Please note that we will only collect your facial data when you participate in party room activities on SoulTap .
● When you participate in live broadcasts or other related social activities on SoulTap , your facial data will be used to automatically detect and identify inappropriate content to ensure compliance with platform guidelines.

2.1 How do we use your information?

Legal Basis (EEA): This information is necessary for us to perform our contract with you, provide your SoulTap Personal Data, and provide the SoulTap Services.
SoulTap platform in accordance with your instructions and requests ; provide personalized help and guidance; provide language and location customization; develop new services and improve existing services; better understand how you access and use SoulTap ; maintain your SoulTap account in accordance with your instructions and requests .
5. Shared Information - Personal Data Media. This includes all information you provide to other users through SoulTap , including: SoulTap photo albums ; information about you provided by other users using SoulTap . Legal Basis (EEA): Providing your SoulTap Personal Data is necessary for the performance of our contract with you and to provide SoulTap services.
Purpose: To administer the SoulTap platform; provide personalized help and guidance; provide language support; develop new services and improve existing services; maintain your SoulTap account; and better understand how you access and use SoulTap .
6. Chat Data. The content of your communications with other users or groups of users. This data is stored on your device and on the devices of the users to whom you send communications. We do not permanently store this information on our servers; we simply transmit it through our servers and distribute it to the users to whom you choose to send communications. Legal Basis (EEA): This is necessary for the performance of our contract with you to provide the SoulTap Chat service.

7. Contact List. The contact list on your device. Legal Basis (EEA): Necessary to perform our contract with you, provide the SoulTap service, and connect with your friends.
Why: Use the "Recommend a Friend" feature to connect with other SoulTap users.
8. Log Data. See definition above. Legal Basis (EEA): Our legitimate interests include ensuring the security of our services, managing registrations, and improving our services.
Purpose: To better understand how you access and use SoulTap ; to administer SoulTap ; and for internal operational purposes, including problem solving, data analysis, testing, research, security, fraud detection, and account management.
9. Customer Service Information. Any information you provide to our customer service team. Legal Basis (EEA) : This information is necessary to perform our contract with you and to provide and support the SoulTap Services.

10. Device Data. Media stored on your device. Legal Basis (EEA): Necessary for the performance of our contract with you to provide SoulTap Services.
Reason: To facilitate sharing of this media through SoulTap .
11. Surveys. If you decide to participate in a survey, we will ask you to provide some personal information. We may use service providers to conduct these surveys, and we will inform you of this before you complete the survey. Legal Basis (EEA): We will collect this information with your consent.
Purpose: To better understand how you access and use SoulTap ; provide personalized help and guidance; develop new services and improve existing ones; improve SoulTap and respond to customer requests and preferences.

You can choose whether to authorize us to use the relevant permissions on your device. If you do not authorize us to use the relevant permissions, some services may be unavailable, but this will not affect your use of other SoulTap features.
Album and storage permissions
Once you agree to enable this permission, we will use the photo album access and storage functionality on your device. This functionality will be used to upload text, images, videos, and other content from your device, and will also cache text, images, and videos generated during your use of SoulTap services. Please note that we will not automatically access the contents of your local photo albums. We will only access image/video data after you agree to enable this permission and actively select the corresponding image in your photo album. If you refuse this authorization, the aforementioned features will not function properly.
Microphone permissions
If you agree to enable this permission, we will use your device's microphone and recognize the voice information you upload. This permission is used to enable the voice input feature and to collect and recognize the voice information input during the implementation of this feature. If you deny this authorization, the aforementioned features will not be available.
Message push permissions
If you agree to enable this permission, we will push messages to you so that you can receive and understand our notifications in a timely manner. If you refuse this authorization, you will not be able to receive the messages we push to you.
Camera permissions
If you agree to enable this permission, we will use the camera function on your device. This function will be used to enable photo and video recording, and to collect and identify the images and videos taken or recorded during the implementation of these functions. Display over other apps permission
In order to float the content of the "Party Room" on top of other content, we will request your permission to "Display over other apps". If you refuse such permission, the above features will not be available.
Device information access permissions
After you agree to enable this permission, in order to protect your account and login security, we will collect your corresponding device information for optimizing user experience, security checks, identifying whether it is a commonly used device, and device binding status. If you are an Android user, your refusal of this authorization will result in you being unable to use this product and/or service normally. If you are an iOS user, you may not be able to directly refuse or close the above authorization due to iOS system restrictions, but for some device information (for example: IDFA information, which is subject to the actual situation updated from time to time by iOS system policies), you can choose whether to authorize us to collect it. If you refuse to authorize, we may not be able to provide you with corresponding functions or services (for example: if you refuse us to collect your IDFA information, we will not be able to provide you with personalized display based on the IDFA tracking identifier).
Access network and obtain network status permissions
Only after you agree to enable this permission will our app be able to connect to the internet. Furthermore, for risk control and service provision purposes, we can monitor network changes and notify users of the current network environment. Rejecting this authorization will result in you being unable to use this product and/or service normally.
2.6 How is your facial information used?
1. Purpose of collecting facial data:
• Special effects, beautification and filters:
When you use certain features on SoulTap to create special effects for your party room or uploaded videos , we will provide beauty and face filter features during your live broadcast.
• Content Security:
During your live stream, we capture your Party Room video footage to automatically detect and identify inappropriate content, ensuring compliance with platform standards.
Note: This data is only collected if the user actively enables the feature.
2. Storage and Duration of Facial Data:
• Local storage:
Facial data is processed and stored locally on the device. It is not uploaded to any external servers, and we use advanced encryption technology to protect data during storage.
• Temporary storage period:
Facial data is only stored temporarily while you use this feature. Once processing is complete (for example, applying a filter or completing verification), the data is immediately deleted. We ensure that facial data is not stored in the app for an extended period of time.
• Continuous Storage:
For certain features (such as saving processed images), the processed images will be stored in the local album instead of the original facial data only with the user's explicit consent.

For real-person authentication data, it will be retained until you request to delete or modify your personal information, or until 60 days after your account is cancelled (whichever is earlier). This period takes into account the possibility that users may want to restore their account information, and the maximum restoration period is 60 days.
3. User Control and Data Deletion:
We respect users' right to control their facial data. Users can delete any processed images or disable related features at any time. When users terminate the relevant features, all temporary facial data will be automatically deleted.

Some SoulTap -related features allow you to share information with audiences outside the SoulTap network - for example, publicly accessible blogs and forums, or certain social media features within SoulTap that allow you to republish and disclose shared information. If you share information using these features, it may be read or used by third parties not affiliated with us.
You can also connect your SoulTap contact list with the contact list on your device and/or the contact list in your third-party service account to search for and connect with the same SoulTap account in those contact lists. Before doing so, SoulTap will ask for your permission to access your contact list.
2.8 Accessing and importing information using SoulTap
SoulTap allows you to connect the SoulTap service with selected third-party social media services and import certain content and information from these third-party services. For example:
● You can share content on SoulTap or log in to SoulTap using services provided by third parties . These third-party services will verify your identity and provide you with the option to share certain personal information with us. They may also provide you with the option to post information from your third-party service account to SoulTap as shared information.
SoulTap using other registration services (such as Providers) . These registration services will authenticate your identity and provide you with the option to share certain personal information with us (such as your name and email address) for account registration and login; and
● SoulTap may provide you with links or functionality (through banner ads, pop-ups, or other means within SoulTap ) to access third-party services or websites (or SoulTap content hosted on those third-party services or websites ). For example, you can access videos hosted by a third party without leaving the SoulTap application.
● Third-party social media platforms are hosted by the relevant third parties. SoulTap services are hosted by us. Third parties providing third-party services may collect your information (including your personal information and log data) and set cookies on your computer or device to enable these features to function properly.
● Your use of any third-party services (social media services or other services), including any personal information you provide to such third parties, and their collection and use of your personal information, are subject to the relevant third parties’ own terms of service and privacy policies, not the SoulTap Terms of Service or this Privacy Policy, so please check these third-party terms carefully.
However, please note that if you request that we not share this information with a third party, you may no longer be able to use the corresponding services or features. We are not responsible for any information provided to you by any third party.
2. 9 Age Limit
SoulTap is not intended for use by children. Children under the age of 18 may not use SoulTap for any purpose without the prior consent of their parent/guardian (on behalf of the child and themselves) to this Privacy Policy . We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 18 without such consent. If you believe that we hold any personal information from a child under the age of 18 without parental/guardian consent , please contact our Data Protection Officer and we will promptly investigate (and delete) such personal information.

16. Social contact information
• Duration: Until you instruct SoulTap to delete your account or unlink your social account from your SoulTap account. Your account will be permanently deleted within 60 days of your request.
17. Cookie
Duration: Data is retained for 3 months from the date of entry and then permanently deleted.

If we need to retain your information for longer than the retention periods specified above (for example, to comply with applicable laws), we will store it separately from other types of personal information.
2.12 How can I exercise my rights regarding my data?
The laws of some countries give SoulTap users specific rights, which are listed in this section.
The following section applies only to residents of the European Economic Area.
You have certain rights in relation to the personal information we hold about you. Some of these rights only apply in specific circumstances, as described below.
We explain how to exercise these rights. Please note that we will ask you to verify your identity before responding to any request to exercise your rights. We must respond to your request to exercise your rights without undue delay and within one month (although in some cases this may take up to two months, for example if the request involves substantial information or is otherwise complex).
1. Access and Correction
SoulTap will provide you with information upon request to let you know whether we hold any personal information about you. You also have the right to access the personal information we hold about you and to understand how we use it and with whom we share it. You also have the right to correct this information.
In the case of correction requests, if we agree that the relevant personal information is inaccurate or incomplete, we will attempt to inform any third parties to whom we have disclosed such relevant personal information so that they can also correct that personal information.

Please also note that while we are considering your data erasure request, you may exercise your rights to restrict our processing of your personal information (as described below).
However, please also note that we may retain personal information where we have a compelling legal basis to do so (for example, to defend legal claims, for freedom of expression, or under some other legal obligation) and we will inform you if this is the case.
If you have asked us to delete personal information that we have published for you, and there are grounds for deletion, we will take reasonable steps to try to tell others who currently display your personal information or provide links to it to delete it as well.
3. Restriction of processing to storage only
In certain circumstances, you have the right to ask us to stop processing the personal information we hold about you and only store that information. However, please note that after we stop processing your personal information, we may reuse it if we have a good reason to process it under data protection laws (for example, to defend legal claims or protect another person).
If we agree to stop processing personal information, we will seek to inform any third parties to whom we have disclosed the relevant personal information so that they can also stop processing that personal information.
You can ask us to stop processing the personal information we hold about you and only store it if:

We process your personal information (including any personal information you choose to publish, including personal data) in accordance with our Privacy Policy. You have the right to receive this information in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format. You also have the right to request that we transfer this personal information to another party.
If you would like us to transfer your personal information to a third party, please specify the recipient. Please note that we will only do so where technically feasible. Once a third party receives personal information, we are no longer responsible for its security or processing. Inactive accounts will be automatically deleted after 180 days (unless you are an authorized account holder of SoulTap ).
